Waiheke Island

There are two main ferry services to Onetangi Beach Apartments Waiheke Island. Fullers operates a passenger ferry from downtown Auckland to Matiatia approximately every hour between 6am and 11.45pm. Full ferry time tables can be found on the Fullers website. Some of the ferries pick up from Devonport.
Approximate travel time is 35 minutes.

Sealink operate from Half Moon Bay to Kennedy Point 12 times a day with additional summer sailings from downtown Auckland. You can go onboard as a foot passenger as well. All timetables and prices can be found on the Sealink website.

Onetangi

Buses, taxis, and shuttles meet all ferry sailings. It is approximately 15 minutes drive. All taxi drivers know the premises, and the bus stops directly outside.
We can organise transfers from either wharf to Onetangi Beach Apartments on your behalf.

Taxis
Taxis operate seven days a week, and some companies operate 24 hrs. It is a good idea to book large groups if requiring a number of vehicles as they can get extremely busy over the summer season and weekends.

If you have to be somewhere at a certain time in the busy months and for wedding guests – we recommended pre-booking your vehicle at least two hours before you would like to be picked up.

Car Rental Companies
A wide range of vehicles are available for daily, weekly or long term rental from local car rental companies on Waiheke Island. It’s an ideal way to escape to the eastern end of the island and visit Stony Batter, some of our more remote vineyards and the famous Passage Rock Vineyard & Restaurant. Motorized bicycles and scooters are also available – please ask the rental companies on contact.
